We switched 5 lines to Verizon from AT&T and each line is eligible for the $200 rebate for a total of $1000 for all 5 lines. We submitted the rebate claim and at around the end of July we saw that the rebates were "supposed" to have been sent already through email but we waited and checked but we didn't receive them. We tried the resend function, chatting, and calling for a couple of weeks until we finally got all rebate emails for all 5 claims. We thought that was the end of the painful journey but when we tried to use them to pay for our August bill, we found out that all of them have zero balances.
Ever since we've been contacting them multiple times a week but we don't have an answer until now. So far we've received one $200 credit but there's still $800 more rebate credits to claim and it's really getting exhausting. We get the same response of them calling us back, which is a hit and miss of getting and note getting a callback but with the same result of having no resolution, so we're trying this forum route.
If we still don't get any resolution from this we'll probably just go with trying to get an executive contact as I've read with other cases of getting a rebate runaround. We will also file a complaint with the BBB and FTC.
Another reason for this post is just to inform other people the possible difficulty they will face with claiming rebates with Verizon.
