Chromebook offer

We went into the Verizon store and were told if we upgraded a phone we would get the Chromebook/ESPN offer and to check for an email.  We never received the email and went into the store multiple times only to be told the same thing.  We went back again and were put on the phone with CS.  Essentially told that the employees at this store lied to us and there was no such offer and we’d have to keep the phone and continue to pay for it.  The call was “escalated “, and the new person said again that the employees lied and there was nothing we could do about it.  The employees continued to insist they didn’t lie and yet there was still nothing they could do.  We’ve been long time customers and I find it difficult to understand why no one in corporate seemed to care or want to make good on a deal they’re employees were selling.  Really just looking for equal compensation to what we were sold!  Which is not what was offered when speaking to CS or the “escalation “ guy.
