Costco rebate

The more I read, the more I know that this Costco card promise seems to be just that, a promise. We switched over last April with the promise that in 90 days we will get $250 Costco shop cards. It’s not November and we have yet to receive those cards. I called 611 and Verizon agent said, they have nothing to do with the promo, it’s Costco. I asked Costco, and they have no clue. So I went to the Verizon kiosk where we signed up and inquired as to how and why we have not received any sops card now that it’s more than 90 days. Verizon agent said that those digital cards would have been sent via email. We never got any. Zip. None. The agent took down my number but i doubt that he will call.

I am having the exact same problem with Costco $250 cards and Verizon $200 rebate cards. I never received the email for Verizon rebate cards, now that I’ve called them they said it’s passed the 60 days for redemption period. The person at the Verizon kiosk told me that it was going to take about 60 days for the email to arrive with the rebate codes. The customer representative I spoke with said that he can see all the emails I receive from Verizon and non of them included any codes, but that he can not reactivate the rebate cards. He also said that they have nothing to do with Costco rebate cards, and when I called Costco they told me to call Verizon. This is very fraudulent and I would like to see this being check by the authorities.  This is crazy!!!

Hello Verizon,

I have the same issue. In my case it's been over 6 months. I talked to the Verizon rep at Costco and they directed me to the Costco customer service, who then directed my back to the Verizon rep, so I got no where.

I  called version customer support about over a month ago and was told the Gift Card would be NOW be sent and look for it in email.  So, if I had not called I would never receive it?

Still nothing.  My next action is to go to Costco management and threaten further more severe action and let Costco
know how these practices are reflecting negatively on the Costco brand and their customer service.

I hope to here from someone at Verizon.

Same issue. II have the same problem, I switched 4 lines on July 18 to verizon from costco kiosk with $250 dollars per line of costco card. The agent from kiosk told me to wait for three months for an e-mail , with regards to costco gift cards.Three months came by, and no emails. Contacted Verizon chat and they said this swith promotion was for new lines. It is unbelievable.  They trick us

My family and I are also expecting several gift cards and have yet to receive any information about it. We are now well past the 90 day mark and we are becoming quite frustrated with the situation.

I  moved 4 lines from TMobile to verizon based on the Costco $250 per line gift card offer in early Oct and have not seen any movement. Please help

Thanks for reaching out.  That is a great question about what/when to expect the Costco Shop Card.  

  • The Digital Shop Card email takes up to 14 weeks to deliver.
  • The gift card does not order until after the customer hits the 90 day time frame for the Costco Return Policy.
  • You will receive Costco's email with the Digital Shop Card from costco@digitalshopcard.costco.com.
  • If you do not receive the ecard 3 weeks after the 90 day return policy has expired please reach back out to Verizon.

Purchase was done on Aug 6. We are Dec 24. That is almost five months, and still nothing...  and when calling Verizon Customer Service they keep telling me that they cannot find any such promo and it is something I need to work with Costco, not Verizon... so so so frustrating!!!

The Verizon Kiosks inside Costco advertise a $250 gift card from Costco, for opening a new line with Verizon.

I spoke to Costco and they said that they will send out the card AFTER Verizon inform them that the customer has completed 90 days of service from date of purchase.  Costco is happy and willing to provide those gift cards, but Verizon needs to inform the Shop Card Department that those 90 days have been completed. 

So now, I am waiting for someone at Verizon, to notify Costco and approve the card.  The problem is that no one at Verizon (so far), know how to properly send an approved notification to the Costco Card Shop Department. 

I even had a three way call between Costco rep, myself, and Verizon customer service, which after three different departments at Verizon, took us back to Customer Service, and was disconnected by the Verizon Customer Service Supervisor who had to make more inquiries and get back to us.  We never heard back from that Supervisor.

Same situation. And they said it was for.new.lines and phones.  The rep in kiosk told me was for switching to verizon and getting new lines. They lied to.me.

It was ordered on July 19/2023.  I switched  4 lines from t mobile to verizon.  Verizon kiosk rep told me that new lines will get 250 gift card per line

I need assisting with this on my account. I received two gift cards last month. One for $100 and another for $250. I was suppose to receive two for $250 and two for $100. However I did not and it’s been a month. Is there anyway to check further status on this?

I switched to Verizon for the $250 costco gift card back in July, still no gift card!  I've been checking my email daily, receving verizon emails no problem.  It has now been 5 months. HELP.
