have been with Verizon for over 13 years and I never experienced anything like this. Back in August I called Verizon and switched plans because of a savings. Two of the lines had promotion credits from an upgraded. Prior to switching I repeatedly asked the representative if would affect the current promotions on the account and he said that it qualifies under the new plan and that I will continue getting the credits. Two days later I received a text message indicating that the current promotions on the account would be removed. I called Verizon and the customer indicated that I would not loose the promotions and to disregard the notifications. Since then I have spent over 5 hrs with life agents and supervisors regarding this issue and till now it is still pending to be resolved. Every one I speak with promised me that it would be resolved but nothing is being done. I was told that it takes two billing cycles for the promotion codes to be added back in the account.
Various fall out promotion requests have been submitted by Verizon customer support and Supervisors and the system keeps failing to adjust the bill.
My bill has been higher every month and it is currently projected to be over $1000 next month with associated device onetime payments. This experience with Verizon customer service has been a very stressful situation.
