I want to upgrade my phones, mine and my partner. I was shopping in the Verizon website, I agreed to pay 25 dollars a month for 36 months per phone. When I was getting ready to pay the bill says "429 dollars right now" I went to check where that was coming from and I noticed one line says "One time equipment fee of $256" under that it was the 25 dollars monthly fee for 36 months. I don't understand what is that equipment fee, if they are going to charge me 956 dollars over 36 month with monthly fee of 25 per phone. Why are they charging me that huge amount? I tried to ask the question to a chat agent but it never really gave me an answer. I have been a loyal customer for years. Do someone know exactly what is going on with all those extra fees?
