FREE advertised program

I am a Disabled Veteran and my wife has been a Verizon customer for 32 years. We went to a Verizon store to upgrade our iPhones through a FREE advertised program. We paid large activation fees and were told our monthly bill would be lower.  It is coming in $98 dollars higher and finding the customer service and in store salesman just don't care.

We were misled and are very unhappy senior citizens customers that have been taken advantage of. We are looking for a new trustworthy carrier if anyone can recommend any.  Thank you
