I am going through the same thing as everyone else who left their phone and home internet carriers. I thought I was getting a great deal by switching, and transferring 4 lines and also got a home internet (which is useless by the way) but it turns out I was just lured in by false promises. Now, I'm stuck with a hefty $265 bill a month and nothing to show for it.
I was supposed to get a ninetendo and a chromebook as my promos. And on May 6 was my 60 days to redeem. But just like everyone else, I got the email to redeem both when I clicked on it, it takes you to NO PROMOS AT ALL!
I then after getting frustrated trying over and over again contacted their customer service and YOU WOULD NOT believe what the agent said after making me wait for at least half an hour..he comes back and tells me that I NEED TO WAIT ANOTHER 90 DAYS TO REDEEM IT!!! SERIOUSLY??!
I guess they are saying that to some customers, so when they wait 90 more days, we'll WON'T BE ELIGIBLE to ANYMORE.
I then asked him," WHERE DID EVEN GET THE INFO OF WAITING ANOTHER 90 DAYS, AFTER WE WAITED 60 DAYS THATS STATED IN THE TERMS AND CONITIONS"
He then put me on another long hold and came back and mentioned NOTHING about the 90 days he just told me to wait and said that he will go ahead and start an escalation ticket and someone will get back to you with and " RESOLVE" the issue.
Then I get a message from the escalation dept. And when I say that MY BLOOD HAS NEVER BOILED THAT MUCH OVER SOMETHING FRUSTRATING,....the message I got from the Verizon Escalation Team said that, " SORRY WE CANT RESOLVE THIS PROMO ISSUE FOR YOU, AS YOU DO NOT HAVE " HOME INTERNET" WITH THEM". SERIOUSLY
At this point I want to see what my options are, are far as consumer rights. But I'll give Verizon a day or two more to FIX THIS DECEPTION.
