Never received rebate notification via SMS, email or web notification

I had a chat with Verizon support today and they are saying that the rebate is no longer eligible because the claim period has expired and I did not redeem it. However, I never received a rebate notification anywhere via SMS, email, or web. I also asked if they can tell me the date when the notification was sent, they do not have this information.
I am seeing many threads like this and it is sad that Verizon uses this as a trick to lure in customers with "offers" and never send promos ultimately expiring them and making them ineligible. Seems like the whole process is difficult on purpose.
I was asked to call 800-922-0204 and request to redirect to Rebate Team. However, this number turned out to be an assistant that does not understand how to redirect a call and opens a rebate claim link that is not helpful.

Oh yeah you should see all the lies they are putting me through over the rebate I'm so Disgusted with them I can't even see straight I even had supervisors guving me their word and it was a lie it's sickening what this company is doing
