I'm hoping someone can help me out with an issue regarding the 65-inch Amazon Fire TV promo promised to me as a new Verizon customer.
I've met all the requirements: signed up with a qualifying plan, paid my first bill, and waited the necessary thirty days after activation. Despite being eligible, each time I call the rebate department (four times, to be exact), it feels like they're completely unaware of what's going on.
What's even more frustrating is that representatives claim they're taking detailed notes about the issue, but on every subsequent call, they seem clueless, and it appears that no notes are being left at all. The process feels like it's going in circles and I am being lied too.
During my last call, a manager promised she would sort it out with some back office department, and she assured me an email containing the promo redemption link would arrive in my inbox within an hour. But, you guessed it, no email came through.
I'm reaching out here in the hopes of getting some assistance with this issue. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I feel like I am going to really need it lol. Funny thing is and idk if it matters but I ensured that I meet all the stipulations and for what itโs worth each rep I have talked with says I am eligible.
To be honest at this point it feels like they are just giving me the run around. Thanks again for sending some luck my way.

Hello,
I have this same exact issue right now.
I signed up for the 65" Amazon Fire TV promo yesterday through the Verizon mobile app. I was explicitly told by a Verizon representative over the phone that the aforementioned promo details + next steps would be sent directly to my email once my purchase was complete (which was yesterday June 29th, 2024). The Verizon website ALSO stated that the promotion details would come to me via email after my Verizon Store purchase. I was supposed to receive this email yesterday. I never received the email from Verizon.
Based on the comment thread above, as well as my own personal experience with this issue, I see now that this is a well-known, well-documented, and very common problem with your company.
Please fix this problem immediately. If I do not receive the TV promo confirmation email by Monday, July 1st 2024, I will report this matter to the Better Business Bureau as well as my state Attorney General's Office the very next business day. Once I have taken action with each of those entities, I will then be filing a lawsuit against Verizon.
Thank you,
Leilani

We want to clarify the details of this promotion. Once you purchase a device, you will have a 30 day wait period before you receive the email with the promotion for the Amazon TV. ~Peter

I was trying to also claim the Amazon tv deal as well. I am a new customer and was told that Vic would have up to 30 days to claim the offer. I was wondering how to do so?

Welcome ot the Verizon family! As a consumer myself I want to make sure you have all the right details. Service must be kept active for 30 days (return period) before the offer is available. Once you have reached the 30 days, you have 60 days to claim the offer through the email you will receive.

Update - Overpromised and Undelivered
Spoke to Natasha the Verizon customer service rep who reached out to me via the discussion post and private message. Natasha left me feeling more skeptical than reassured. It all started with her upbeat assurance that I'd receive the promotional TV offer I was eligible for. Sounds good, right? But then Natasha dropped the bomb that I couldn't track anything until the TV's on its way and there is no way to track or confirm "the case" she sent off to the promo department and I would just have to trust her. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.
Then came the familiar apology. Sure, Natasha, but here's the kicker: the last four reps I spoke to at the promo department said the exact same thing and did the same exact process of creating "a case". So what's different now and why can you not confirm that you have submitted a case to this mysterious back office team ? And why's the timeline suddenly much longer than what the manager promised me yesterday, only to not follow through?
Natasha insisted that once the Promo team gives the green light, I'll get the promo. But forgive me if I'm not holding my breath. And she wants to follow up in five days to confirm the Promo team did their thing. Yeah, right, like I haven't heard that one before.
Then she laid out the timeline: 4 to 6 weeks for delivery once confirmed, with no direct communication from the Promo team other than her remembering to call me. How am I supposed to stay in the loop and trust this process, when I feel like I am being given the run around and lied to at every turn.
Talking to Natasha left me feeling more puzzled than reassured. It seems like they're making promises left and right, but I'll believe it when I see that TV in my living room. Until then, I'm not convinced.
Will keep you guys updated on this journey and hopefully this can help anyone who is in a similar boat.

Hello, Wekesa. Help is still here as I don't want you having any negative feelings. At this time, we have submitted the request for confirmation and proper expectations have been set regarding the time frame of the promotion confirmation and delivery. I also have a follow up set with you for the 16th. Please share what concerns you have for the future process that we are taking next week.

Wow. I just signed up for this same promotion. I added a line for my son. Iโm only on day 1, of the 30 day activation requirement, but I really hope this isnโt a scheme to get customers because that would be really bad business dealings. I never received the initial email about the promotion, that would explain all of the requirements/details. Iโm guessing maybe I will receive that when I pass the 30 day activation requirement.
Also, if they canโt provide you with any tracking information about the TV how would you know when to be home for the tv to be delivered? Now Iโm curious and donโt have as much fate in this promotion either.
please keep us all updated. Also, maybe Verizon should provide a direct number for those of us who might run into the same problems/issues as well.
