Phone Payoff Promotion

Hi, I recently ported a number from ATT to Verizon.  The transaction was completed through the online chat and I was told that Verizon would cover the balance left on my old phone at ATT.  I had not received any further info about getting reimbursed from Verizon so I went to a local Verizon store.  I was told at the store to email the final ATT invoice with confirmation of payment to an email address I was given, but that I just learned is not valid.   Please advise on how to move forward.

Does your account show anything indicating a "we'll pay off your phone" promotion was applied?  If not, then whomever ported you in did not do the paperwork to have the promo put onto your account.

Hi - For some reason  had to create a new username to reply.  I am the same person that submitted the original question.

 

When I went into the Verizon store for help, they contacted a Verizon rep who told me to send the bill confirming my payoff of the phone to ATT to POYP (which stands for Pay Off Your Phone) @verizon.com.  When I tried sending to that email, it bounced back and said the email address is not valid.  Are you aware of this email?  Is there somewhere else I need to send my info?  Thanks!

We want to make sure that you receive the offer that you qualify for. The email address that you would want to send that to would be poyp.support@verizon.com ,  If you want to give that a try and let us know if that works for you. -Dee

Hi, I did not receive any acknowledgement from Verizon that my phone payoff invoices were received after sending to the email address that was posted above.  Is there someone I can contact about this to make sure I have completed all necessary steps to get reimbursed for my phone payoff to ATT?
