I upgraded my wife's phone to the Google pixel nine Pro because it also came with the free NFL Sunday ticket promotion. However, the phone will not be shipped until September 13 but the NFL season starts on September 8. Am I not going to be able to activate NFL Sunday ticket until the phone physically arrives and we can activate it? That does not seem fair just because the phone is on pre-order. If I had purchased a regular pixel 9, we would already have the phone and I assume able to activate NFL Sunday ticket. I feel like we are being penalized for getting the more expensive phone.

This does not help. I have to wait on a pre-ordered phone not arriving until Sept. 13 and miss a week of NFL Sunday Ticket? That was not clear when I ordered.
I am in the exact same boat. Upgraded to Pixel 9 Pro and updated to newest plan, but none of that is active until I get the phone so consequently I cannot access Sunday ticket for week 1. I really hope they are able to remedy this.
