I used to love Verizon. That’s why I came back to Verizon after years and years of being with US Cellular. Now I regret it I was supposed to get a promotion that they advertised in July 2023. I opted to upgrade my phone from the iPhone 14+ to the iPhone 14 pro I was told in store that all I needed to do was turn in an old iPhone, which I did. I have never received the promo of getting a discount on the iPhone 14 pro as promised. I have spent countless hours on the phone with Verizon and have gotten nowhere. I have requested to speak with upper management and that is not possible. And now I see that they are giving away iPhone 15s like they are going out of style. I feel completely conned by Verizon and they won’t own up to their mistake that I did turn in a phone. I did not know what the procedure is and I simply turned the phone into the Verizon store. I contacted the Verizon store and they said I have to contact the one 800 number and speak with a rep. I keep getting the runaround and I am tired of it. I am on a fixed income, and I just absolutely cannot afford to pay for an iPhone that is more than what they promised. I wish I could just get out of this contract and go back to US Cellular. This is ridiculous. The customer service at Verizon is nothing like it used to be. I have tried since July to rectify the situation and have not received an answered that as a solution. And now I’m being told that I waited too long. That is so wrong. It seems as though every time I get to a wrap, I have to repeat the entire story over and over again, and nobody seems to keep notes in my acct. wish somebody would help me!
