I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with Verizon Wireless's handling of a promotion I qualified for in December 2024. I purchased two new S24 phones and was promised a free 55-75" TV as part of a promotional offer. Despite being told repeatedly that I would receive the TV, it never materialized.
Over the past six months, I've spoken to over 25 customer service representatives and escalation team members, waiting on hold for hours and being given conflicting information. I've been issued multiple tickets, and each time, I've been told to wait or that there's nothing that can be done. The story keeps changing, from not qualifying for the promotion to technical issues with my account.
What's most egregious is the lack of accountability and follow-through from Verizon Wireless. I've visited the store multiple times, spoken to managers, and filled out surveys, all to no avail. The promised $100 gift card after one of the escalation calls was never received.
As a loyal customer of almost 20 years, I'm appalled by the service I've received. The TV was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my family of seven, but instead, we've been left with nothing but broken promises. I'm at my wit's end, and if this issue isn't resolved promptly, we'll be forced to take our business elsewhere.
