Teaching discount and cell and home internet bundle

I am a school teacher and a loyal verizion customer.  When I discovered the discount for teachers for 4 lines for around 25 a month the each  and discounted home wifi i got so excited because my children are teenagers now and need their own lines for me to ensure they are safe wherever they may be and my husband had been on prepaid for years and desperately needed a phone upgrade and a phone line that never jad to worry about having disruptions of service. I attempted to add the aditional lines online with customer service numerous times but every time they ran into some different issue. Then I verified my teacher ID in a verizion retailer and got the new phones and additional lines and wifi only to be billed over $500 in plan and a titration fees the first month and over $300/month after that!!! That was not at all the deal you offered and is more along the lines of false advertising and deceitful theft if you ask me. Now I'm locked into 3 yrs of pla s I can't even afford. I really feel like I was lied to and tricked and that's no way to "honor your customers"

Hello, Traci_B. Ensuring you receive only the best in customer service is always our goal. Help is here. Let's ensure we are on the same page as I see you stated that Wi-Fi was the only thing to be billed, correct? Could you clarify? Are you referencing the smartphones? Any details would be helpful as we look forward to assisting and resolving your concerns.

Verizon ought to make it clearer that discounts and promotions are NOT "stackable".  I suspect you got either a multi-line discount for having 4 lines or the discount for having internet + phone added, but you can't have a job-related discount added atop those.  You might be able to get both the multi-line discount and the bundled services discount together, but I'm not sure.
