Verizon not honoring promotional credit

I spent an hour online chatting to order two new iPhone 15s. They were very clear about what they would send and what it would cost and the credit. Or so I thought. Today I got an emails saying they would not honor it because I already got that credit. When ?   from whom?  have been with Verizon since 1991.

Hello, mmemary8. Help is here as you many years of business mean the world to us. Please share more info regarding the promotional credit. Was this a trade-in? A new line of service? What were supposed to receive per month? Please share as many details as possible.

Yes, we’re trading in 2 iPhones. One might  be a free upgrade?  I find the deals and promotions too numerous and confusing to keep straight!  We haven’t gotten our New phones yet so we have not sent the old ones back. I believe the new phones are coming on Monday. Thanks.
