Why does Florida have the Senior Plan and the rest of the US does not???

We are Senior Citizens in California and we really want to know why we are being financially penalized because we do not live in Florida????  Verizon has the 55 Plus plan ONLY in Florida....this seems a bit biased to us Senior Citizens here in California. Is there a reason why Verizon does NOT have a 55Plus here in California????  T-Mobile has a plan, Consumer Cellular, and Metro has a plan...why not Verizon?? ..................Thank you for your time.

WOW, VERIZON!! I had plans for myself and my husband to switch over to your service within a month, as we are both over the age of 55.  I don't think that will be happening anytime soon.  REALLY?  "Let's work together beyond discount labels??" Yeah, NO thank you. Won't be looking at Verizon service anytime soon.

I think it's ridiculous that only Florida gets the senior discount. I don't necessarily find a tree that Verizon offers discounts for every budget. You offer certain discounts for certain people for example , seniors living in Florida but not elsewhere.

This is blue sky. Smacks of rabbit reasoning.  Another provider will most likely offer something without a discretionary practice involved,

Check out this reasoning discussion of the Verizon's Florida Senior 55+ Plan:

You didn't answer the question.  Why are you discriminating against seniors in the rest of the country or better yet why are you just favoring Florida?  I have been a Verizon customer for over 23 years.

Yes it should be offered nationwide.  Yes, I agree with you about them not answering question. Simple question deserves an answer.  Yeah for you

This is really ridiculous! I’m in GA and when I upgraded they took my discount! (I specifically asked if it would be on my new phone)! I was then told it was only in FL when I went to re-enroll! Why is FL special? I’m switching as soon as my phone is paid for! Shame on you Verizon!!!

We know it's important to feel valued and to make sure your plan stays within your budget. We would love to take a look at your plan with you and see if there may be a discount or better plan you are eligible for. We are sending over a private note to get started.

Unbelievable at this point it is also about principal there is absolutely no excuse to treat your senior customers so unfairly you can twist it any way you want and use your pr jargon but it doesn't change the fact that this is just wrong

I agree. Why should seniors in Florida get a break and not the rest of us? I’ve been with Verizon for at least 20 years.  Where’s my reward? Maybe it’s time for a change…

I agree, if you are going to offer a senior plan, it should be nationwide. Not for just one state.
