I am finding dozens of similar posts, people being talked into getting a "free" tablet and phone with purchase of a new phone. This happened to me. I asked the sales clerk (who no longer works for Verizon) a few times, and was assured it was a special promotion and there would be no fees or costs. This was in Sept 2023. When I saw the $10 a month charges x 2 for the new devices that I don't even use, I called and cancelled the service. Now they want me to pay $600 plus for the devices. I have gone back to that store, referred to another "corporate" store, and I keep being told their hands are tied. I could kick myself now for believing the lies told to me by the original clerk, who I am sure got a commission on all of it. I never used the watch at all and used the tablet maybe about 30 minutes the first day. I feel this is a very dishonest practice.
