What a piece of absolute crap this device is. Memory storage issues and no way to update without navigating an inefficient and cumbersome phone tree. Avoid this garbage like the plague. There is a reason they offer this for "free" no one would ever willingly buy one.

I came to that same assessment just by reviewing the specifications on the website and the tech blog sites. The sales reps in the store couldn't get anywhere with me when they attempted to sell me on the "free" tablet deal for the Ellipsis 7 tablet the last time I was in a store.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I totally agree only my situation is worse, I did not get it for free. Verizon called me and offered it for $50. I never had a tablet but they went on about how wonderful it was and how mush I would love it being I am more or less house bound. So now, I am paying $10 a month for something that sits in a draw. Even when I did try to use it I was on wifi so I don't understand what the $10 is for.

I have the Ellipsis 7 and it has never given me any problems, maybe if people didn't abuse their equipment it would last longer, also if you are having this many problems you should have gotten insurance on it and gotten it replaced, not everything that is free on the Verizon website is a piece or pile of crap.
