I was in a postpaid plan for years and got a network extender from Verizon for free 2 years ago since the apartment had a really bad signal coverage inside. My leasing was just ended and there is no need for me to keep the extender. I brought it back to my local store but the agent told me there is no need to return this since I have had this for over 2 years. I searched my email but found nothing regarding whether I need to return it but I had a vague impression that I got the extender for free as a rental but I need to return this later. I am curious as the extender has a price tag of $250 but I was not charged at the beginning. Looking forward to have some comment under this circumstance.

If it was provided to you at no charge, I would assume it is yours to do with as you please. These were devices for customers to purchase or were provided for free to resolve a local coverage issue. Which model is the extender?
