Does the Data Usage counter continue while connected to the 4G Network Extender?

Question;

Probably know the answer already but have to ask; Does the Data Usage counter continue while connected

to the 4gLTE Net Extender?  Also, since the device is "open" (no ability to select/restrict users by cell number) ,

anyone can connect and use "my data plan". Is there an update planned in the future to allow more control over

cell #'s that connect to my 4gLTE Network Extender?

If you connect to the 4G LTE extender and you do not connect to wifi, you will get charged for cellular data use. If someone else connects to your 4G LTE extender, they will get charged for cellular data use on their plan. You will not get charged on your cellular plan. However, they are using your home internet and their use will show up on those logs (not important if you have unlimited home data).

When at home, connect to your home wifi. In most cases the 4G LTE extender is not needed with any modern phone that supports wifi calling, since the wifi calling gets you the same access in low signal areas.
