That is an interesting question. We see that there are compatible Android chartplotter apps for the Ellipsis 7 but hopefully the community can share their experiences with these apps as we cannot support third party apps.
Technically this should be possible, but there are a lot of variables that may affect your experience, e.g. battery management, data connection, etc.
If you do end up using your Ellipsis 7 as a Chartplotter, we would love to hear about your experience!
