Ellipses jetpack keeps disconnecting

Ok I have an Ellipsis Jetpack and had it for awhile now and never had a problem with it disconnecting my wifi on my computer till I took the unlimited data package and ever since then I noticed it disconnects me from the internet and just happens when I try to watch a movie or video or download files. I have tried everything I have found online and nothing works I downloaded a wifi analyzer to make sure there was no interferance with my signal or other peoples wifi channels overlapping and there is not no problem with my router or any pc setting and it occurs most of the time during off peak times. Just seems funny it started after I went unlimited data. any help would be grateful. Thanks

It still keeps disconnecting me from WiFi and it does not reconnect either I have to use windows diagnosis to scan for problems then it will find it and connect to the internet

Were you able to get anywhere with this? I am having the same problem with new unit I just received & according to the TECH SERVICE it is performing as expected??? Drops every 5 minutes or so & won't reconnect until I search manually search for it & even then it is not always there.

Well here is just 1 hour of logs 9 times it disconnected me... so no the problem is still there... Never had any problems with it when I was buying 10g of data for $100.00 then they had Unlimited Data for $70.00 a month so took it at first it was good then it got worse and always happens everyday... It almost seems intentional by Verizon...

Thank you for the details provided so far. We want to make sure you are able to maintain a stable connection with your computer. Do you connect any other devices to it? Does it have the same issues? Have you tried resetting your Jetpack? We can also see if troubleshooting your PC helps. Have you tried having the computer forget the connection and reconnect it?

We have tried both computers in the house, both phones, tv & it is the same for each.  So it is not the computer.  The speed connectivity test was also performed by Verizon & we were told when we did that last Sunday that is was not acceptable & then got a msg after 2 phone calls later when a ticket finally was opened as I was told was going to happen on the first ticket that is is PERFORMING AS EXPECTED.   Don't even know what to say that Verizon is OK with connection failing every 5-10 minutes & being extremely slow when it stay connected for 10-15 minutes.  

We have another jetpack that my fiance's work provides to him for when he needs to work out of the house & it NEVER disconnects nor do we have any other issues with it.  Same signal strength same location in house & the Ellipses doesn't work.  That tells me after all the horrid phone calls, trip to store, lies that have been told to me that is because it is a prepaid account which means we are lowest priority & def data slowing going on with this account.  Which is what we specifically asked about & was told no no no.  Fast connection, no slowing down, not lower priority.  Have the texts to show we asked all of these questions & what we got is exactly what we were trying to avoid.   I have been a customer with Verizon for about 20 years & can't believe how your customer service treats people & the lies I have been told.

I've almost always had issues with my jetpack. It likes to overheat and now the outer shell is expanded & hopefully not ready to pop I didn't insure it. I'm stuck with it.

I ended up cancelling mine.  With the unlimited they throttle it back as much as possible so they get your money but, you do not get the usage they explained and of course "promised" when you sign up.  The pack & Verizon service is a joke.  They were of no help, skirted around the issue & truth.  Have had several people looking for service & I automatically steer them away from Verizon for anything but cell service.  After the situation I found that Verizon throttles all prepaid unlimited back.  Hmmmm....then how is it unlimited you ask???  Well it still works right, even though it disconnects it still work.  YES, that was verbatim from my last conversation with Verizon.  Oh & forget refund for unused days.

And yes one of the many & long phone calls the jetpack was reset.  Yes we have had the computer & phones forget the connection.  It is not our phones, computers & tv's.  Maybe, just maybe it is the service you are providing to these prepaid jetpacks????

This has nothing to do with your prepaid billing. I have solved the ellipsis jetpack disconnection issue by not using it. I use my Iphone and Ipad as hotspots. The jetpack is in the junk drawer. Now it all works. I do not have prepaid billing.

This is a small sample of the garbage I go through everyday during off peak hours it has disconnected me multiple times since this log. It never did this at all when I paid for 10 gb of data but ever since I went to unlimited data every time I watch a video or movie or try to download anything it magically disconnects me from my wifi. I have left my jetpack on for hours and had no problem with web pages but as soon as I try to watch something bam I get kicked off the internet. Then my computer does not find my jetpack on wifi to connect so I have to use windows network diagnostic tool to find the problem then it tells me to choose from the list to connecty then it sometimes pops up and its set to auto connect there is no problem with my network card or anything like that. Also something strange that goes on is my jetpack will be on everything is working on the jetpack itself shows all the information as it should yet my computer when I go to my jetpack.com site it will tell me there is no sim card even though my jetpack itself is fine. Never had a problem till I went with the unlimited package and supposed to have 720p
