- Incredible I travel to Puerto Rico every year and stay for about 5 months. I always take my phone roaming no problem at all. I purchased a Galaxy 5 Pro and it will not connect to the network no matter what that my phones are connected too. I called technical support more than ones and they couldn't fix it. So today a tech guy told me the the reason is because verizon does not allow Smart watches to roam outside the US.
- Whaaat, what kind of ..... is this I mean is this for real.

Here are your terms as stated in your site,
CDMA only devices will not work outside of the USA, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
Clearly Puerto Rico is included so my watch should be roaming in Puerto Rico just like my phone.

Hi Classicsalsa1, we're sorry that you're having problems with your Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro while out of the country. I did just look at the device specs for your watch & it states that it does not support data/global roaming & it is not a world device. You'll be able to reference what I'm referring to by clicking here http://spr.ly/6606394oI; On that page, please scroll down to where the Specs tab, scroll down a bit more & there is a section that says "Global & Roaming Network" No and then underneath that it says "World Device" No. Since we do not have any Verizon Wireless towers outside the United States, it will not work in Puerto Rico since it is not a world device & doesn't support global/data roaming. I'm very sorry to have to share this news with you, but I did want to provide the information on why your watch is not working while outside the US.

Classicsalsa1,
I am so sorry for the confusion. This watch is not a CDMA only watch. This watch does support 4G LTE, it is just not a Global device. There are very few watches that are not Global or set up for Data Roaming. We would never want to lose you. We can go over the options before you make your next purchase.

On the watch are you able to dial the code
*#2263#
If so, do other networks appear that you can select?
