I've read the instructions and still can't update the software on my Ellipsis 7. I don't have that option under apps > settings > system.

Tap on About Tablet, then Software Updates, then Check New.

From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > Settings > Phone Info > Software Update > Check New. Make sure you are NOT on WiFi.

It's a tablet so it doesn't give me a "phone info" option. It gives me the option of "System" instead. My options under "System" are Date and Time, Accessibility, and About Tablet. According to the VZW website, I should have an option for System Update under the heading of System.

I hate it when Verizon posts instructions online and I read that info and repost it for others' benefit, only for Verizon's info to be wrong.
