How do i get the software updates pushed to my tablet?

I'm having issues trying to connect to the server when checking for software updates.  I have tried via my 4GLTE connection and as well as my WiFi connection and both methods fail to connect to the server to check for the software updates.  my tablet is runing Android 4.2.2 SW version MV7A_31D25_422A. Please help and thanks
