Last night (Aug. 3rd, 2015) I was on Facebook. A pop-up came up that was (supposedly) a survey about my LGT WiFi. Can I hide my WiFi from others seeing it? How do I know if the survey was valid? I wouldn't think that Verizon would do things that way, but (instead) would send me an email so that I could answer a few questions for them.
Maparks, you came to the right place for help and let's look into this pop-up message you received. We certainly don't want anything unexpected to show up on your screen. When you saw this pop-up where you connected to your WiFi at home? Did the survey say it was from Verizon Wireless?
