Network extender not connecting to iPhone 13

I just upgraded my phone from an iPhone 11 Pro to a 13 Pro.  I have multiple phones connected to a 4G Samsung Network Extender.  My older phones continue to connect to the Network Extender but the new phone will NOT.  I changed every setting I can on the phone (5G to LTE), turn off WiFi calling, restarted phone, restarted network extender.

I read all messages in this community and I haven't seen a solution.  Has anyone with an iPhone 12 or 13 successfully been able to use their network extender?

I am a little confused, you say that your iPhone 13 will now connect to the extender, can you tell me exactly what model number name etc. of the extender that you have, thank you.

I have the 4G LTE Samsung model number I’m not sure I’d look it up later but I’ve had it for like two years or more.

philmfla is who I am asking. Or anyone else who has a iPhone 12 or 13 and the Samsung LTE extender.

We would love to get more details. Do you currently have an iPhone 13? Have you been able to complete your upgrade? -Kevin

I was able to connect iphone 13 to Samsung VZ 4G LTE NW Ext 2, SW Ver 4.0.6.01 by;

1.  iphone settings to wi-fi off, wifi calling on phone off, voice & data = LTE only.  Reboot phone.

2.  from NW Ext admin web page - Complete Reset

Call #48 to confirm phone to NW Ext connection = good.

Then

1.  phone settings - wifi back on, wifi calling on phone back on.   #48 - still connected = good.

2. phone settings to 5G Auto - disconnects = BAD.

And - I have to start all over to re-connect.

SO - Is you are in a bad 5G and LTE area at home (we are), seems you can only use 4G LTE since you need the NW Ext.  And give up on 5G when you drive a mile to 5G coverage.

OR - Don't buy a 5G phone yet ?

Vz - FIX THIS.

Do you mean you have the 4G LTE Network Extender?  There are other posts in this thread and other threads that may have solution suggestions.

Hello, aaange. I regret to hear that you have been experiencing issues with the connection of your iPhone devices to your 3G Extender. For a 3G Extender to work with HD capable devices, the HD voice option must be turned off. If your device is capable the option would be under your Settings - Cellular - Cellular Data Options - Voice and Data. Here is a link with more information: http://spr.ly/6608MyrLy ~Pamela

Hi TR, your 13 pro doesn't connect to your 4G LTE network extender? Has it previously? Do you have your iPhone on 5G or 4G LTE in the cellular settings?
