Late last week I tried watching the Today show on the Fios iOS app while in my home, on my iPad Pro. Much to my surprise all I got was a perfectly good picture and a little background music, no speech from the cast. I changed channels and everything worked good. When I returned to the Today show the same issue. But during commercials I did get the actors voice. When the show returned after the commercials no voice. Fast forward a couple of hours later still the same issue. I tried 2 different iPads and a couple of iPhones all had this issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app same issue. I deleted all my remote devices from the Fios One box and still the same issue. I tried watching through a iPad and iPhone on cellular data only, no home WiFi but that didn’t help.I powered down the Fios One box and then powered it back on and I’m still having the same issue. I have no issue watching TV through any of my Fios boxes only through the Fios TV app. Anyone know if NBC is doing this or is it a Fios issue or is it just my setup. Once again it’s only on national broadcast NBC shows not the local shows nor do I have an issue with any other channels. Thanks.

I do get voice for local programming of NBC and commercial. Just not national NBC

That’s the same issue I’m having. This just started last week. Before that I had no issue so something changed. I tried watching on my desktop and laptop both running Windows 11 and I have the same issue.

As of today FIOS or NBC fixed the voice issue on their national broadcast. FIOS TV app now works as intended.
