I bought a Verizon Ellipsis 10 inch tablet, and I didn’t know that the SIM card that came with the tablet was locked. I contacted customer service to see if someone would be able to unlock the SIM card, and the woman who messaged me said that they would be unable to unlock without the previous owner’s information, but I do not know who the pervious owner of the device was.
Would Verizon be able to unlock the SIM card for me? If not, should I order a SIM card? What happens if I cannot get the pervious owner’s permission to unlock the SIM card and device?
