I will be upgrading from 75 mbps to 200 mbps Verizon internet. I was informed that a technician will install a new ONT box. I would like to still use my G1100 router with cable coax interface. Can this support that speed. I also would like to keep configurations the same. I.e SSID etc. Any issues.

In the past (up to say 4 years ago) 150Mbps was the fastest that Verizon recommended using the coax connection, above that use the ONT ethernet connection. That might have changed as certainly rivals are still using faster speeds over coax.

If this question is for Verizon Fios internet, you have the wrong forum. https://forums.verizon.com/
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
