I am having an issue the sim card installed in my Ellipsis tablet. The tablet keeps telling me the card is not installed
Have you tried turning off the tablet and removing the SIM card for a minute or two? Then reinsert the SIM card, turn the tablet back on, and allow it a minute or so to establish a fresh network connection.
If the issue persists, you may have a bad SIM card (they get corrupted/go bad on occasion); you can get a new one free at your local Corporate VzW store or by contacting Customer Service.
