Why are my images on internet searches washed out?

My three week old Ellipses 10 tablet has been giving me washed out images on internet searches.  It is also happening on some on the pages that are brought up. Is this a memory problem?  I made sure I only had one program running but I still experience the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What search engine (google.com, yahoo.com, or some other) are you using for internet searches?

Are you using Chome app to run the search?  Can you provide a screenshot?

Having same issue, using Google Chrome for searches. All search results are shaded and not clear!

This is happening to me too!  I see that many posts are read but few are answered.

The issue happens with other search engines as well.

Happened to me too on chrome. Installed Firefox and that has solved the issue so far.

Please use the below workaround to resolve the issue:

1. Launch Chrome app.

2. In the web address bar enter: chrome://flags

3. Scroll down and find the item “Enable GPU rasterization” -> Change it to "Disabled".

4. Relaunch Chrome

Mine is doing the same thing. Was fine when I got it last month but started doing this last week. I keep watching this feed hoping for an answer but Verizon seems to be in hiding. Guess I'll take it back today and see what they say.

I just got the fix in an email, but not posted here

Go to Chrome, type in chrome://flags, scrolling down to GPU ratification, and choose disable. Tara!

To fix go to settings, display, and turn off adaptive brightness.

That didn't fix it.

Did last night.   Now back to washed out.   This seams to be only a problem with this tablet.   I can find no another tablet from anyone doing this.
