Why can'tI uninstall Nova Launcher or Polycon Icon Pack

I downloaded and installed Nova Launcher and Polycon Icon Pack from the Google Store yesterday.  After using them for awhile, I decided that I did not want them.  I went into Sttings->Application Manager -> Polycon and did a Force Stop, Cleared Data, Cleared Cache and then selected Uninstall.  I am asked to confirm that I want to uninstall the app.  When I confirm, my Ellipsis8 immediately reboots and Polycon is still there.  I have the exact same problem with Nova Launcher.

In your settings, look for "home screen"

It could be in your display settings, you'll just have to look around.

Change it from Nova Launcher back to the default, then delete Nova launcher
