I didn't receive the OTA software CV update

That update was released on 05/17/2016. You should have received it. If not, I would manually check for an Software Update.

  • Fixed incorrect vzwadmin APN requests
  • Improved memory management to reduce sluggishness
  • Security patches

I appreciate VB your response I have manually checked for the 31F28 update and be I'm still not getting it could you help me out with how to connect to a computer and side load it

Are you on wifi or cellular data when checking for the update?  You need to be connected via cellular on the Verizon network to get the update.

Sorry I tried cellular network without wi Fi It says cannot connect to server

Try removing then re-inserting the SIM card.   The tablet IS an active line on your account, correct?

JOSCON74, we definitely want to make sure that your tablet is running the latest software version available. Let’s make sure you’re up to date. Please confirm your current software version. You can check this by going to Settings, About tablet, and looking under Software version.

Also, you’ll want to make sure your tablet has a sufficient amount of space to download the update. You can check available memory space by going to Settings and Storage.

Can you get online to any site (via cellular)?  Is it only the Verizon server you are having difficulty accessing?

If it's all sites, perhaps the SIM card is defective and needs to be replaced.  They are free at a corporate store.

You should try getting a new SIM card.  That may correct the update issue.

Mylast update was in January 2016. I hope the newer updates make the system faster. Mine is pathetic

The only error I see CV is the settings menu stops if I press APN in the More section of settings

I'm running 5.1.1 Lollipop software version QZ331F46 I think it but said that Verizon pushed out a update to version QZ331F28 I can be wrong on that

I am having the same issue. I got the QZ331F46 on April 1st. I followed all the steps in this post to update including getting a new Sim card. Still it didn't update. Should I do a factory reset?
