installing the extender centrally in my 3/4 split level house is difficult with all the connections required (pwr, ethernet, and gps)
the 5000 sq ft coverage that is advertised is exaggerated in my opinion. (maybe in a wide open space, but who lives in a warehouse)
couple of questions:
1. what is a realistic expectation for how far away you can be from the unit and still be covered?
2. is it better to install the unit upstairs, or main level?

You should install it wherever your router gets the best coverage. Call Verizon tech, they can adjust the power transmission if need be and if allowable in your area.

Can anyone tell me what connector type is used on the GPS extension cable? I have the samsung scs-2u01 unit?
are they mcx or smb connectors?
I bought some mcx to f connector pigtails but they don't fit.
