My IP address (geo-location) is causing issues with MLB.tv that have blackout restrictions on games. MLB tells me its a problem with the IP address. I can use celluar data to watch on my phone, but as soon as I use wifi on phone, tv, etc app stops me from watching game. MLB gave me an exemption but it only lasted a week.
Is there a process for changing the IP address so that it accurately reflects my location?

Hello there Baseballfan2 and thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We can understand your concern and want to help with this matter. Are you having trouble with the same apps when you are using cellular data? Have there been any recent changes to your account around the time you began having issues?-Candice

Have you tried contacting your home internet provider since it's a wifi issue and your IP address with wifi?

I asked Verizon about the same thing and after some troubleshooting, I was told to either use wifi or install a VPN. Not really a solution, but that's what I was told.

The original poster stated their problem was with wifi and they can only use cellular data. Post is from last Sept so hopefully they found a solution. What did MLB say when you contacted them?
