Military discount

I am very frustrated right now with Verizon! Just got off the phone with a representative inquiring about my bill. I switched to auto pay awhile ago so I never look at my account anymore. My bill has gone up $100 in the last year! I started looking back at older bills and realized we are not receiving our military discount anymore. Apparently 9 months ago they switched the way you apply for the discount. My fault I didnโ€™t see it but when the representative helped me reinstate the discount it is half the price now. They will not honor the previous discount we had  been getting because we never applied for it again (never saw the email).  We have been customers for almost 20 years!!! .  think itโ€™s time to switch providers!!!
