When I upgraded my air card I was told that 4G would be turned on at the end of October. I didn't really expect that and the air card worked nicely so I was not upset when the October time frame was not met. I heard an announcement on the radio yesterday saying that 4G had been turned on to almost half of the customers in Arkansas. That may be, but either it didn't happen or I am not in the chosen half. I can't complain too much. Like I said the new air card works and I got a reduced price---but I think I surely would like 4G. Any ideas on when or if 4G will ever be available in Searcy, Arkansas?

Hello cscott,
I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying your air card for you computer. It warms my heart to read such a happy post about our service. I would like to take this opportunity to share two links with you to our 4G LTE website. Please see below:
http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#/4g-network-verizon-wireless
http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#/coverage
The first link has answers to some commonly asked questions about our 4G LTE network. Also, at the top right of the screen, you can sign up for 4G LTE updates with your email address. The second link takes you to a page that showcases our map that has over 175 cities blanketed with 4G data service. There are 4 tabs above the map that advise what cities are covered by 4G and what cities are expected to get 4G soon. If you would like to check your exact address then there is an option to check your home or office.
I am confident that once 4G LTE is available in your area, you will be even happier with the blazing speeds that it has to offer. If you have any additional questions or concerns then don't hesitate to reply to this message.
Thank you...

I live in Conway.
This morning I drove down the interstate to Little Rock and 4g turned on outside of Morgan/Mayflower exit mile marker 141.
I live in Mayflower outside of Conway.
Coverage map shows that 4g should be active where I live.
I will post here when and if it turns on.
Please post if you learn more.
thanks

I am now picking up 4g in Conway proper and the outskirts.
Unfortunately although the coverage map shows that I should have 4g coverage, I lose signal near my home.

You can also try looking into a 4G LTE amplifer and either an Omni External Antenna or a Yagi Antenna to try to pull in the 4G LTE signal, if you have a direct line of site with the tower I would recommend the Yagi.
3Gstore has an incredible BlackFriday deals going on this morning, I attached a link to the Amplifier which would help you with the 4G LTE Signal as for the antenna depending if you have a direct line of site or not, I experienced the same issues with my Pantech UML290 switching from 4G to 3G but never going back, After I got the antenna and amplifier I could not be happier. My signal is at -83 dBm and I am downloading 19.2 Mbps and uploading 4.3 Mbps I have burned to my 5 gigs in 2 weeks..
