I purchased an unlocked Razr 5G and added it to my Verizon account. When doing so I spoke with a Verizon rep about 5G connectivity, and they said I would need a new sim card to have the 5G network work on my Razr. I installed the SIM card and have been using the device for a few months, but the 5G network is not connecting. I have another Verizon phone that is connecting to both 5G networks (UWB and sub 6 ghz), so I know it is live in my area. And I have the Get More Unlimited plan. How do I get my unlocked Razr 5G to connect to Verizon's sub 6 ghz 5G network?

This is frustrating. I have been waiting a month for a response from @GD0405. The lack of response to a long-time customer is concerning.

@GD0405 Can you please respond to this question? I am paying for an unlimited 5G enabled phone plan, and have an unlocked 5G capable phone, but am unable to get 5G on the device. When will Verizon's sub 6gHZ 5G service be enabled on the Razr 5G?

You might have better luck contacting them on twitter for help.

Are there @GD0405 community moderators or employees who handle these types of questions? My preference is to reach out through the Verizon forums.

Hello @GD0405 I still have not received any response or information about my unlocked Razr 5G being able to access the sub-6 5G network. Can you please provide information on how to do so, or when I will be able to do so?

If they haven't answered here orsee on social media think you are out of luck getting a response.

If you are correct, that is unfortunate, but I will still keep attempting to receive a response.

The reason you are hearing nothing here is because Verizon does not support this unlocked phone in 5G. I purchased one, and spent an hour at the Verizon store attempting to get it set up. (I have a number of Verizon devices, 3 of which are on the 5G network).
Finally the guy said it would work on 4G LTE but not 5G. So solly, Cholly! That's the end of their support.
Since this appears to be the case, I am betting Verizon doesn't want to own up to whatever failure they have. Obviously they want you to pay then a Grand for the phone rather than have you spend less elsewhere.
Welcome to Verizon. Can you hear me now?

You didn't spend a thousand dollars at Verizon for the phone, they don't sell it. They don't sell the 5g because it won't run 5g on their network. Google it
