Since 4G was activated in my area my 3G seems better than it ever has been!
3G RSSI of -75dBm (I don't think it will register any better than this).
My map shows that I should be in 4G range, but I have no 4G service.
Verizon said I am .7 miles from my tower (less than a mile from my tower).
About a half a mile down my street I can get 4G service.
What's going on?

I am now finding that if I set my Pantech UML 290 to LTE only and restart VZAccess Manager and remove and reinsert the air card I can find a 4g signal. There doesn't seem to be much inbetween having a fair signal and getting a "no service" response.
My advice would be to experiment with location and antennas.
I have a 4G RSSI of -50 dBm which I understand is very good (three bars). I have a SINR of 9.2 dB which I understand is not so good. Is there a way to improve SINR?
