Cell Signal Since 5G

I've been trying to be patient hoping things will eventually get better but ever since 5G rolled out, my cell service at home has been HORRIBLE! I can make calls and received them and I'm pretty sure whoever I'm talking to can hear me but I can't always hear them and what I can hear is typically garbled electronic gibberish. There is literally nowhere in my home or even outside of it I can go to make it better. It is so infuriating! Do I just need to change carriers?

same.. it's been like that for nearly a year. Some places it just goes to 4g and i basically get 0 internet. I can't even go into most stores w/o losing all signal. I'm on iphone 13 and it was great until 5g.

We're sorry to learn you're having issues with your service. Where are you currently located? Does this situation occur indoors or outdoors only?

Hi Ivone, I didn't think anyone at Verizon would ever respond to me. I live on the south side of Carson City, NV. This problem happens regardless if I'm indoors or out or at least, at my home. I have since found that if I switch my cell service to LTE only, it does better but for how much I pay, it'd be nice if I could get the 5G coverage I was told I would get. Thank you.

On the contrary, thank you for the details. Are you currently at the location so that we can troubleshoot?

There is not one single person I talk to who hasn’t noticed the decrease in coverage. Everyone has said since the last 6 months something changed. I believe it’s the 5g switchover that is causing a coverage issue. It has been horrible. Most places I had coverage I don’t anymore either.

I moved to Verizon years ago because of wider coverage around the SE. Inthe last 2 years or so since 5 g it’s been terrible. I have to drive all over to see customers and the only time I have signal is on interstates and larger cities and towns. It’s really bad for my work and I’m thinking of changing.

Having your service up and running is always important, and we would hate to lose your preference. Are you currently in the affected area so that we can properly troubleshoot? What is the ZIP code you are having issues at?
