Question - I understand that free mins means that during this period, if you get a call on ur verizon wireless, your minutes allocation will not be deducted for your call. Does this apply if you receive calls from an international number? I would like to calla verizon cell phone from Malaysia but I do not want to take up my recipient's minutes. Would calling during this period do the trick?

Any voice airtime used during the free period is not billed, incoming and outgoing calls. The only exception I can think of is international long distance outgoing calls, no airtime billed, but per-minute long distance intl yes.
