The IMEI in my #Samsung Note 10 Plus 5G settings does not match the IMEI that Verizon has listed for my phone on my account.
I tried to get my phone serviced with Asurion, and they could not process the repair because the IMEI from Verizon did not match the IMEI in my phone.
Tech support has suggested a new Sim card. Tech support states that this should update the IMEI number on my Verizon account to the IMEI number in my phone.
Does replacing my Sim Card seem like the solution?

Replacing the SIM card will only affect the phone's reception and network connection, crz1. It sounds as if we need to dive in a bit deeper here. We have sent a private note to continue.

The Sim card in my phone was replaced.
My IMEI number was able to be updated.
Tech support believes that the wrong Sim card was put in my Samsung Note 10 Plus when I purchased it in 12/2020.
After putting in a new Sim card, tech support was able to update the IMEI number in Verizon to match the IMEI number in my phone.
This allowed me to have a repair done to my phone through Asurion.
Thank you for your responses.
