LVP2 won't hang up

If a caller ends the call, the LVP2 does not hang up until after several seconds of "busy signal" are received. This causes the answering machine to record a "busy signal" after every call.
It is as if the LVP2 device does not recognize the "call termination signal". A "normal" cell phone ends the call immediately after a caller hangs up, but the LVP2 "cell phone" does not.
It would appear that a setting of the LVP2 needs to be corrected by Verizon.
I have called Verizon about this more than once, but they can't figure it out. They say they will call back with a solution, but the call with a solution never comes. Sometimes they call back just to say they will call back again.
Any help?

I just saw your reply at 11:44PM. I had to refresh the page to see the envelope with the #1 on it and find the "Private Note".
The link went to a blank page.
I assume it was too long a time since you replied. I'm not sure how I can check my PC in time, unless you give me a time far enough in advance for me to plan. (I am not sitting at my PC 24/7.) ; ^)
Also, I am on my son's plan, so any authentication will require him to be available, too.
It's frustrating to have to go through all of this to fix a problem. It's not like I'm changing service in any way.
I would hope the fix gets applied to every LVP2 on Verizon, rather than each customer having to go through this. It would be wasteful of your time and of your customers' time to keep duplicating this service issue repeatedly. I suspect many customers wouldn't even know how to describe the problem to Verizon.
BTW, this happens with every call, whether a message is left, or not. It also happens if I answer the caller and they hang up or if I place the call and they hang up. That is how I confirmed it was the LVP2 and not the answering machine causing the issue. The LVP2 never "knows" that the call has been terminated.
Thanks.

We have been having the same issue but now in addition, when a call is coming in that we want to answer we pick up the receiver and get the "busy signal" and are not able to hear the caller, even if the caller has not disconnected.

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with your LVP2. We don't want you to keep waiting for the phone to end the call or the call to not start. Have you had a chance to try another headset to see if the issue repeats itself?
