Currently I am paying about $150/month for unlimited talk text and 3gb of data on two smart phones including my work discount and taxes. I have been a customer since 1999 my lost plan around $45/month at one point but usually in the $100/month range. my droid is busted and dying and verizon will not really help except some really insignificant discount/rebates b/c I am not eligible for an upgrade yet.
AT&T will give me four new phones, unlimited talk/text, 10gb of data for $160/month...
doesn't seem like I am getting awesome customer service for a fifteen year customer...

jmcross78,
Thank you for being such a stellar customer for 15 years! I would love to make sure we can continue this loyalty for 15 more years. What seems to be the issue with your current droid? What model of Droid do you have. I can always put a fresh pair of eyes on your account to see what options we may have. I requested to follow you, can you please accept. Then request to follow me back. Once we are following each other please send me a Direct Message http://vz.to/1fbIKzK so we can go over your account specifics. I hope to hear from you soon.

Galaxy s3; screen is severely cracked and only 1 charger will charge so I have to carry that charger with me everywhere and cannot charge it in the car.

You bought a phone and didn't insure it. You damaged it, and now it's Verizon's problem? You can surely go to AT&T, but read the small print, it's far from only $160/month.

Yep all these people threatening to go to at&t don't realize that their $160 plans do NOT include the price of the phone. In fact at&t's $160 plan is the same as Verizon's.

Its not verizon's fault that I damaged my phone, but I would think after fifteen years of doing business that I giving a discount or allowing me to renew my contract early to get reduced phone pricing would be something they would consider. However thus far in my conversations with customer service I have been offered the same deals as someone that's never done business with Verizon before.

You're receiving service in exchange for payment. Do you expect a free TV from your cable provider?

indeed I am receiving services for fees and I have been a verizon customer for fifteen years b/c coverage vs. pricing. Pricing has always been reasonable vs. the better coverage than other cell providers. Customer service has been very good at times and not so impressive at other times.
I do not expect to get anything for free, however I do expect after committing to services for fees with a single provider for fifteen years to be treated differently than someone who has not spent a dime with the company. If you do not feel this way that is fine, but I do.

This is why they offer insurance. Do you have it?

AT&T offered me a plan on 5 lines with unlimited talk text and data including 10gb shared with 2 smart phones for just over $150 with my corp discount. The mere insinuation that you can't find a better deal is bogus. Verizon is the highest priced company with whom I didn't plan to deal with but a particular salesman quoted me a rate that they decided not to honor after 2 years. Now I had extended 2 contracts with the promise he rates would not change and they have put me in a spot I wouldn't have been in if only that single salesman had given me a different story.
Good luck with what you do and don't let the LRVassar's throw you off.

I broke my LG G2 and I didn't have insurance. I am 4 months away from my upgrade. Shouldn't VZW let me get a new phone? NO. I haven't completed my contract. I had to provide my own phone. Luckily I had an iPhone 5 doing nothing. I can wait until November. I wouldn't dare dream of asking for something that I know full well I didn't earn. (see I haven't completed my contract.) My fault for not having insurance to cover the damage.
You haven't been a loyal customer for X amount of years. There is no such thing. You've wanted their services for that long so you kept paying for it. You have had other options for a wireless carrier and you stayed for whatever reason but you are certainly no more loyal a customer than I. I have been with them for 3 years and NOT ONCE has my bill been paid late. In fact, most months it is early. I give them $350 a month. Wait. I sound ridiculous. I need to stop. It makes me so mad. You had the option of protecting your device you chose not to take the insurance.

Sounds like the same plan they quoted me. I am going to talk to some AT&T customers and see how the coverage is here.
