No 3G, no 4G....what gives??

So I recently switched to Verizon.......and a day or two later I have no 3G or 4G connection!! It has been well over a month now with no 3 or 4G!! What the world??? Verizon expects payment.....I expect service!!!

What have you done to rectify the issue?
Have you contacted tech support for help? If so, what did they say?
What have you tried on your device to fix it?
Have you pulled the battery (If able)
Have you check to see that the mobile network box is still checkmarked???
What device is it?????
