There as been "No Service" in PHX (actually West Mesa) all weekend long. Unable to use for client access on Saturday and when I lost Network at the house early Sunday morning unable to use it as a backup network either.
Glad I pay for this service that doesn't seem to be when I need it. Tech guy actually had the gal to say that Verzion can't always provide service when needed ??? I'm sure they don't use that in their marketting...

As always, read the fine print. Verizon makes no guarantees of service reliability whatsoever. They operate on a "best efforts" basis only. That includes data speeds as well. When looking at internet service, you should always consider a non-mobile "fixed" one first - fixed services are usually less expensive, and have better performance per buck then mobile ones. Of course, they don't move around with you.
The serious use of 4G mobile data is for road-warriors who need to access large amounts of data fast. However, VZW's main 4G funders are those who think that watching HD movies on a 4" screen is cool. If they help fund the network, that's great.

Zip Turtle, it's not likely to have no service at all. Do you still have NO Service? If so, are there others near you with Verizon Wireless that have no service? If, so there could be an outage which is definitely frustrating.
Do you have no service everywhere or in one particular area? That would help me determine if it is your phone or the Verizon network that may be the problem.
Let me know if you are still experiencing problems in the PHX/ West Mesa area.
