POOR SERVICE / NO SERVICE

We have been Verizon customers for years, in the last few months we have been experiencing dropped calls and no service where we had service before. I think Verizon you need to re-evaluate your advertising because your service isn't what it used to be in my area!! And I am not talking about just data phones. You had the best service around, we couldn't brag about you enough, now we can't stop cussing you. So what are you doing to improve our service again???
I have 2 phone that the contract ends in 2 months and 1 that ends next year. I have called, did the live chat and nothing gets better. I want out of my contract because why should i be paying for your service when i can't even use my phones anymore in our area!! It is cheaper for me to cancel now and pay your penalty few all all 3 phones than to pay for service i can't even use. Nothing your tech people have helped to fix the problem. I would like a supervisor to fix this problem or let me cancel without having to pay your early termination fees.
Is anyone else having problems in Lapeer, Mi. and south of us?

What kind of devices do you have?
If they are 4G smartphones, try removing then reinserting the SIM card to re-establish connection. Also check to be sure the network is set to LTE/CDMA. Then restart the phone.
If they are 3G or basic phones, dial *228, Option 1 to reset the network and update the PRL list. This can be done monthly as maintenance step to keep the phone updated and reconnected with your local towers.

We used to have great service in Coldwater, Mi and in the Gaylord area, but it has gotten really bad.
