This is driving me nuts! I have spent countless hours chatting, texting, and calling Verizon since I switched to Verizon in November 2021. There is an endless number of problems, the most recent that one of the two rebates I submitted for up to $800 was denied as "invalid". The reason given in the status system is that the final bill and document proof were not attached to the rebate submission. This makes absolutely no sense because the other line that I submitted the rebate for was approved as "valid" even though the documents for both lines were EXACTLY THE SAME. I submitted the T-Mobile purchase receipt for both phones and the T-Mobile the final bill showing both phone lines on the bill. Yet one rebate was "valid" and the other rebate was "invalid". Makes absolutely no sense since I submitted both at the same time with the same documents. Please help, tell me there is some hope. Verizon should owe me $800 for this rebate, so I am not going to give up until this is fixed! #rebate #promo #switchnov800

Hello shtmpgr,
We definitely want to ensure you receive any rebate you qualify for. From what you described, this sounds like it was the rebate to help pay off the remaining balances for your devices with your previous carrier. From what I've seen from examples of customers sharing their old bills with me, there are a few bits of information we need that isn't always shown. The bill will need to clearly show the phone number as well as the model of the phone that was active with the pay off amount. On some bills, the pay off amount or model of phone is in a different location from the actual number. You can write in the model and pay off amount next to the number and then resubmit the information: https://www.yourdigitalrebatecenter.com/#!/check-my-status That helps the rebate team ensure the correct amount is applied. Does this help?

Yes, Verizon resolved this issue (more on that in a minute).
The problem is that the promotions rebate team did not do their job right. I submitted two documents, the Final Bill (clearly showing the phone lines) and the Payment Receipt which showed the two phone lines and the amount I paid to "buy" the phones from T-mobile before sending them to Verizon. The final bill didn't show any installment pay-off amount because I had already paid for the phones (there is a delay in producing the Final Bill after I switched to Verizon). The Verizon Promotions Team should have been able to look at both documents I uploaded and understand why the final bill didn't have an installment pay-off amount. But instead the Promotions Team just denied/invalidated the rebate because the final bill didn't have this information.
I contacted one of the Vice-Presidents on Executive Team at Verizon (https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/executive-bios) and a member of the team there contacted me via email within a day and a few days later, the rebate issue had been resolved adequately. (I didn't get a Visa egift card rebate for one of the lines, I got an account credit. The other $800 Visa egift rebate is on the way, though I don't have it yet). He also got the other remaining issues fixed.
This rebate issue was just one of the problems I encountered with the switch to Verizon. I spent countless hours texting/calling because the trade-in values were initially wrong, then the bill had outlandish charges for January. Altogether, not a fun experience, hopefully not the typical experience for customers. But at least it ended right.
