Suddenly No Service in My Area

Hi All,
I’m pretty frustrated so I thought I’d post here for advice. I’m on day 5 with no service at my house, which used to get 4-5 bars. Now I get SOS or one bar, if that. I’m on WiFi calling so I’m not entirely out of luck unless my internet goes down. My husband’s phone is in the same boat.
I need to stress that we have no problems outside of our zip code area we both have 5 bars at work also we live in the Las Vegas area so we aren’t in a very rural area. There have been no changes to our area too that would block signals. Just suddenly, on Friday, as soon as we reached the edge of our zip code area, our phones went from 5 bars to nothing. No gradual decline. Just nothing.
I did the song and dance with tech support, who was convinced it was my phone until I flat out said, “it’s not our phones. There is something wrong in my area.” The tech conceded and told me to visit my nearest Verizon store to have them report to corporate that the tower was down. 😳 that is not my job. I contacted Verizon to report a problem. I will say the tech was super nice and worked with me for over an hour.
If service was discontinued to 89074, I’d love to know. I have elderly parents and worry about service now when I never did before. I should mention I’m prepaid but I’ve had a postpaid account before (saving money is saving money) and I’ve been a customer for nearly 10 years. Right now, T-Mobile is looking pretty nice and that’s what my parents have.
is there anyone who can take this issue seriously? TIA

An update for everyone.
@vzw_customer_support finally admitted it was them and not us. After 5 hours of dealing with everything, and explaining 100000 times that it wasn’t a problem with our phones, we reached a higher tier of tech support. In about 2 hours we had service again in our area.
at some point today, it was shut off again. Fortunately it seems to come and go at least.
morale of the story is, get to the next level of support.
